Lin Meng

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Vanderbilt University. Before that, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar in Climate and Ecosystem Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I got my Ph.D. in Environmental Science & Geology at Iowa State University in June, 2020. I was a research intern at Oak Ridge National Lab during 2017-2019.

In addition to research, I have taken an active leadership role in the Ecological Society of America (ESA), American Geophysical Union (AGU), and FLUXNET Early Career Network. I organize events to promote early career and initiate international conversations, and participate in numerous educational outreach programs for underrepresented groups.

You can learn more about my current research on the Research page, and check out my papers on the Publication page. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach me by email: lin.meng@vanderbilt.edu
